## In short

Dami Sik is a fusion Korean restaurant in Osan, Gyeonggi, serving stone jjajang and shareable dishes. We ordered stone jjajang, yuringi, and steamed dumplings with Mango, and the sauce-on-the-side yuringi was easy for her to enjoy. A good choice for a family meal with several dishes to share.

I went to Osan for the first time in a while and had a delicious lunch. This time, I visited Dami Sik, which is well known in Osan for fusion Korean food. From jjajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce) to a range of dishes, there was plenty to choose from, so it looked like a good place to eat with a child too.

## Dami Sik parking and restaurant atmosphere

There was also a generously sized parking area beside the restaurant, so it was convenient to visit by car.

The neat exterior caught my eye even before I went in, and once inside, there was more seating than I expected. It looked comfortable for a family visit too.

When we went inside, quite a few people were already having their meals.

They had high chairs ready too, so Mango claimed a seat, haha.

## Kiosk ordering and self-serve fried eggs

Each table had a kiosk with menu photos, so we could browse and order comfortably.

We ordered stone jjajang, yuringi (crispy fried chicken with tangy sauce), and steamed dumplings.

Before the food came out, you can make yourself a fried egg at the self-service corner.

Jjajangmyeon needs a fried egg, right?! The owner really gets it... When there is a self-service corner like this, you somehow just want to make one, haha.

## Stone jjajang served on a hot stone plate

All the food came out at once. With the table completely filled, it looked satisfying just to see it.

The stone jjajang was the first thing that caught my eye, of course! It arrived bubbling away on a hot stone plate, and it definitely looked different from ordinary jjajangmyeon.

Because it came on a stone plate, the stone jjajang stayed warm while we ate. Once we mixed the seafood and noodles evenly, there was also a subtle smoky flavor.

The noodles touching the stone plate became lightly crisped, adding a nutty flavor. The black bean sauce coated the noodles nicely too, so I really enjoyed it :)

Adding the fried egg we had made at the self-service bar made it even better—jjajangmyeon + fried egg = pure deliciousness. We started the meal by trying the yuringi and steamed dumplings that came with it, one by one.

## Steamed dumplings and yuringi with sauce on the side

The steamed dumplings were warm and generously filled, making them satisfying and a nice accompaniment to the stone jjajang.

The yuringi looked appetizing from the moment I saw its crispy fried coating. It was crisp outside and moist inside, and delicious.

Since Mango would be eating the yuringi too, we asked for the sauce separately. It was crispy and mild even without the sauce, and Mango ate much more of it than I expected.

When eating out with a child, strongly seasoned food can sometimes be hard to share, but getting the sauce separately made it fine for Mango too. It was nice having three dishes on the table, each with a different flavor, and I thought it would also be a good place to visit with several people and order a few dishes to share.

If you want to try something a little different from the usual Chinese restaurant menu in Osan, this seems like a nice place to stop by. If I have another reason to go to Osan, I would like to try other dishes that I did not get to have this time.
