Struggling with autumn dryness and flaking, the writer booked the October facial designed for very dry or redness-prone skin: a roughly 1-hour course of bubble cleansing, exfoliation, a Shiba Mountain moisture film mask, toner pack, balsam moisture pack, babassu gel water-drop lifting and a regenerating ampoule. The soft brush felt gentle and lovely against my skin haha After gentle massage rolling wraps up the cleansing, exfoliation preps the skin into its best state before the main treatment. Even the exfoliation wasn't harsh at all, which I liked! They packed it on so thoroughly that it felt like moisture was filling in every last gap~ On top of that they layered on a balsam moisture pack. It felt cool and moisturizing right away!! After a few minutes once it firmed up, they removed it cleanly :) It felt like a modeling pack but even more elastic. With my skin looking totally calmed down, they applied babassu gel next. To help the babassu gel's moisture really sink in, they used water-drop lifting to absorb it. You all already know absorbing it with a machine works way better than applying it by hand, right?!? To finish things off, they applied a regenerating ampoule. It took about 1 hour and I could feel how systematic the whole process was.
