The atmosphere is perfect for a visit on a night like this, with the evening breeze turning cool. September really is the season for yajang (outdoor pocha seating)!!!!!! Unlike a typical indoor pocha, this place has a banyajang (semi-open-air) feel that's open and breezy — really nice for drinking. ## Retro interior and open-air seating at Hansabal Pocha The first thing that caught my eye walking in was the interior, full of retro charm. We went classic and ordered the house specialties: gopdoritang, old-school toast, and flying fish roe rice balls! It wasn't an in-your-face harsh spice but an addictive kind that kept pulling me back in — my spoon didn't stop. There were also plenty of potatoes and carrots inside, making it the kind of dish you want a whole bowl of rice with. Adding the udon noodles is a must!
