Hi everyone! This is Haebora. Sometimes you just crave bread instead of rice, right? With the mornings and evenings getting chilly lately, I suddenly wanted something warm and freshly baked, so I went to try the delicious milk bread baked with premium French butter at Easy White Bread Sinjung-dong! This was the first time I felt like bread alone, with nothing else, was enough.

Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong is located at 272 Giljju-ro, 113호, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's a 6-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sinjung-dong Station on Line 7. I happened to have errands nearby, so I walked over! Just a short way in from the main road, the shop is right there on the ground floor.

There are pretty bench seats outside the shop, which look like a nice spot to wait while your bread is being prepared.

A sign announcing freshly baked milk bread caught my eye. Freshly baked bread — isn't that just the most exciting phrase?! I really wish this place were right in front of my house. The fresh fruit milk cream sando also looked delicious.

## Inside the shop and the 2:30 pm fresh bakes

The interior of Easy White Bread Sinjung-dong is compact but nicely arranged. There are three tables, so you can enjoy freshly baked bread with coffee right there!

I visited around 2:30 in the afternoon, and the kitchen was already running an active bread production line. Delicious-looking loaves fresh out of the oven were visible on trays.

Let's start with the Golden Beurre milk bread.

I chose the medium 2.5cm thickness, and it was thick enough to be fun to tear apart. I didn't buy any jam separately, but eating the bread plain was clean, nutty, and honestly delicious enough!

That soft, stretchy tear as it pulls apart — maybe because the French butter is 80% milk fat, it had an especially rich, buttery flavor.

I don't normally like jam, but delicious bread is the exception! I happened to have strawberry jam in the fridge, so I tried spreading some on.

Oh, of course, it's amazing with strawberry jam too. Next time I need to bring home the jam sold in the shop.

## Why the olive cheese milk bread was better a day later

Next up is the olive cheese milk bread. It hadn't been cut, probably because I didn't request it separately. Actually, that's even better — there's something fun about tearing it apart by hand.

Can you see the black olives and cheese studded throughout the inside? You know that feeling of digging into soft, tender bread, haha. The olives and cheese have such a great chew, it's the kind of flavor you keep reaching for. Actually, the olive cheese bread tasted even better the next day than fresh.

It's a throw-it-together sandwich with leftover delivery chicken from the night before, a fried egg, and a squirt of ketchup. Honestly, since the bread itself was so good, it was delicious even thrown together like this! I guess the finishing touch of a sandwich really is the "bread."

## Is Easy White Bread worth a trip in Bucheon?

If regular bread has gotten boring for you, or if you want to experience the flavor of premium French butter, you have to try this. For a reasonably affordable price, you can feel like you've tasted bread in France. I recommend Easy White Bread Sinjung-dong.
