I got pulled in by the smell of sweet baked goods near Gongdeok Station and ended up at Fluffy Bake Shop. If you're into madeleines, financiers, canelés — anything in the gooum-gwaja (baked pastry) family — this place will make your eyes light up the second you walk in.

This is the thought I kept having as I browsed Fluffy Bake Shop — this would be a really good place to come for a gift. The desserts themselves are pretty and varied, so it's easy to pick and choose to someone's taste, and above all, even the packaging boxes are so cute. Since madeleines and financiers are the kind of dessert you can just pick up and eat, they'd be great to bring to the office or to a gathering too.
