I went to Bacha, a Munjeong Station spot good for dinner and a drink after work. It's the kind of place to go when one friend wants to drink and another wants to actually eat dinner!

Bacha has nice outdoor tent seating, and there's a menu board out front, so you can decide what to order before you even walk in — a nice touch.

## Inside Bacha Munjeong: black-toned room, outdoor tent and group tables

Inside Bacha Munjeong is a little dim and clean, with windows open to connect to the outdoor tent seating, giving it an open feel. The black-toned interior looked calm, quiet, and stylish — a nice spot for a relaxed drink.

There's plenty of seating and group tables too, so it's a good pick for work dinners or gatherings near Munjeong Station.

## What we ordered from the Bacha Munjeong menu

We sat down and browsed the menu. Along with mains like bacha seafood jjim, beef tendon and brisket jeongol (hot pot), sizzling brisket seafood tteokjjim, whole squid Nagasaki jjamppong soup, and homemade fish cake nabe, there were plenty of lighter dishes too — nachos, melon, hotteok (sweet pancake) and more! We went with the less-salty options: bacha seafood jjim and sous-vide pork jowl & chive salad.

The drinks lineup was just as varied — not only soju and beer, but highballs, whiskey, tequila, wine, cocktails, and traditional liquor, so there was plenty to choose from. We were tempted by beer but ended up ordering a Wednesday Apple Mint Tea highball and a Mohigreen (non-alcoholic). I've been on medication lately and can't really drink, so I appreciated all the non-alcoholic options.

### Non-alcoholic Mohigreen and the Wednesday Apple Mint Tea highball

We chatted for a bit and the drinks came out quickly — the Wednesday Apple Mint Tea highball and the Mohigreen.

My Mohigreen was sweet and full of refreshing apple mint aroma. My friend's Wednesday Apple Mint Tea highball also had that same bright fragrance, but apparently packed more alcohol than expected — she said even one glass gave her a decent buzz!

## Sous-vide pork jowl with chive salad, ordered less salty

While we were chatting over drinks, a mountain of chive salad and sous-vide pork jowl arrived. We'd asked for it less salty, and it came out clean, savory, and wonderfully chewy!

The chive salad seemed freshly tossed to order — full of chive aroma, with a crisp, lively bite.

Piling the chives onto the pork jowl was such a good combo!

We even loaded on some onion for good measure.

## Bacha seafood jjim: whole squid and clams in one pot

Next up, the second main — bacha seafood jjim — arrived loaded with whole squid, shrimp, scallops, and more.

With that much seafood, it honestly felt like we'd walked into a clam-steaming restaurant! The broth was spicy and refreshing too.

There was fish cake in there too, plus scallops and clams galore — we were stuffed.

The squid came out whole, which made cutting it up part of the fun!

## Next visit to Bacha Munjeong: four people and added udon noodles

We ate our way through a full spread! If we'd had room left, adding udon or kalguksu noodles to the bacha seafood jjim broth would've been perfect — a little regret there. With such a varied menu, I'm already planning to come back with four people next time!

For a work dinner in Munjeong, Bacha works well whether it's round one, round two, or even a casual round three for beers. I'll definitely be back haha.
