But when I actually went, the side dishes were set out in no time, and we were seated straight away without waiting. ## A charcoal-grilled dinner with my younger sibling after a long time I met up with my younger sibling after a long time. Meat is their absolute favorite, so while deciding where to go, we visited Galgol Yeontanjip Seocho Gyodae Branch (감골연탄집 서초교대점), where you can have charcoal-grilled meat with an old-school feel. I was searching around for good places near Gyodae, and the word “charcoal” caught my eye right away, haha. We arrived at 6 p.m. on a Wednesday, and lots of tables were already occupied. Still, there were three or four tables left, so we got in right away with no wait. My sibling came by public transport and I drove. They offer valet parking, but the valet area was packed, so I could not use it. Luckily, there was an empty spot at the construction site across the street, so I parked there. There were five in all: kimchi, green-onion kimchi, shredded scallions, lettuce, and pork fat for greasing the grill. It felt like they had included only exactly what was needed, with no fuss.
