Mackerel and pasta isn't a common combo, so the second I saw it on the menu I knew I had to try it lol. Eating the noodles together with the mackerel meat was a better combination than I expected!! Gyulluralla is refreshing and easy to drink, but of course I still went for a glass of wine haha. Pairing the mackerel pasta with white wine was great — the wine cleanly cut through the savory richness of the fish, and the combination worked really well!! Corkage is also free for up to one bottle, excluding wines sold in-store, so wine lovers should keep that in mind!! Pyu felt less like a plain restaurant and more like a dining bar where you enjoy a glass of Euljiro wine along with your food. There are so many good restaurants in Euljiro these days that it's hard to decide where to go, but Pyu has a completely different charm from the old-school Euljiro eateries! It's the kind of place that comes to mind when I want a relaxed meal in a wide, clean space haha.
