I’d been wanting to try it, and there was one in Mokpo Namak, so off I went. The menu was divided up clearly, so even choosing felt somehow so relaxing... ♥ Everything was easy to take in at a glance, making it easier to decide, you know? At a barbecue restaurant the meat matters, of course, but you can’t ignore the sides either—and these were so delicious, definite pass. Starting with the tangy scallion salad tossed in chojang (sweet-tangy chili sauce), there were myeongi namul (pickled wild garlic leaves), lettuce, garlic, dipping sauce, and delicious kimchi! They were all great accompaniments for the meat. Then came steamed egg and dongchimi (radish-water kimchi), too—especially the dongchimi. That was the kick.
