It's great with rice but also works well as a drinking snack, right? It was pleasantly spicy with soft tofu, so my spoon kept going back for more. Alternating with the other dishes, the spicy flavor really woke up my palate!! Why is the little Yantai glass so cute lol. I love Japanese-style fried rice so I ordered it, and the rice was fluffy with a nice smoky char flavor, pairing well with the other dishes. It went great with a bit of mapo tofu on top, and was also light and clean enough to eat on its own — the kind of flavor you keep reaching for. Both the outside and inside were juicy, so they were easy to eat one by one. This kind of dish goes really well with beer or a highball haha.
