After three nights and four days of soaking up the sea breeze in Mukho and Gangneung, I was already sad to see the blue sea slipping past the car window on the way home. As soon as I opened the door, the rich, nutty scent of what felt like freshly baked gourmet butter tickled my nose and brought on an automatic smile. After much deliberation, I picked the coffee flavor, which captures Gangneung’s signature character best! The moment I carefully opened the bright, pretty pink cherry blossom package, I thought, “I made such a great choice for a Gangneung souvenir.” Each sand is individually wrapped, so I think whoever receives it will feel delighted by how polished it looks.
