We had reserved C7, but it was a weekday and we were the only ones there, so I set up the one-touch tent I bought from Today’s House at C3, where thick, sprawling trees blocked all the sunlight. First, I laid a ground sheet under the tent, then opened up the 1m Shelter Muse one-touch tent and finished setting it up in one second. Fishers, make some noise〰️ ### Restrooms and showers The men’s and women’s restrooms at Maru Pension Camping Site in Yeongwol are separate. Since it is a restroom, they had also installed insect screens so bugs would not come in whenever the door was opened and closed. For a campground with this much natural beauty, I think it is worth coming all the way to Yeongwol, Gangwon-do. I once spent three hours pitching a Polaris Taurus Beta, so after finally getting through all that trouble of setting up a tent, it would normally have been time to make dinner. But this one-touch tent opens in one second, so I even had time for a nap after lunch. When I woke up, the sun had already set and it was past dinner time, so before campground quiet hours began, I grilled seasonal shrimp in sun-dried salt and ate them. Yeongwol is nestled in the mountains, so cold air blew in as soon as the sun set. I quickly got the firewood going and enjoyed the flames, then watched Your Honor on the iPad I’ve been binge-watching Netflix on lately. There is nothing around Maru Pension Camping Site in Yeongwol, so I thought it might be a great stargazing spot in Gangwon-do. When I went to the restroom before bed, there were as many stars as at Anbandegi in Gangneung, a famous stargazing spot, and I just stood there staring at them 🌟 We were the only people at this Yeongwol campground that day, so we slept like babies.
