Hunta Euljiro is a tonkatsu restaurant in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 1st floor of the Fastfive building by Exit 1 of Euljiro-ipgu Station, opened by a pork cutlet shop that built its name in Kkachisan, Gangseo-gu. Arriving just past 11am on a weekday, the sangno-seu (premium loin) katsu set with a Sprite came with six condiments — salt, gaban pepper, shichimi, tonkatsu sauce, mustard and wasabi — and gaban pepper matched the loin's fat best. After 11:30am Hunta Euljiro fills with Euljiro office workers, so arriving close to opening is the comfortable move.

Today's the legendary one!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hunta, the tonkatsu place that used to be super famous in Kkachisan, Gangseo-gu, has opened a branch in Euljiro too! I went straight there ₍ᐢɞ̴̶̷.̮ɞ̴̶̷ᐢ₎

## Where is Hunta Euljiro, and what are its hours?

Hunta Euljiro is on the 1st floor, Unit 106, of the Fastfive building at 24 Namdaemun-ro 9-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Hours are Monday to Friday 11:00–20:10, with a break time of 15:00–17:00 and last orders at 14:30 and 19:40. It's closed every Saturday and Sunday. Walk straight in through the 1st floor door and it's right at the entrance, so it was easy to find

## Solo seats and the best weekday lunch time to avoid the wait

Inside Hunta Euljiro there's everything from 4-person tables to solo seats, so eating alone was comfortable. For weekday lunch, go a bit past 11am to get a relaxed meal.

The interior feels like this!! Neat and clean!! There are seats from 4-tops to solo spots, so eating alone was easy and pleasant. You need to go just past 11am on a weekday lunch to eat comfortably — once it's past 11:30, this Euljiro lunch spot 🫢 is packed with Euljiro office workers. If you come after that you'll probably have to wait

This is the first time I've seen a kimchi jjigae set at a tonkatsu specialty place, I'm so curious ,,,,,

## How was the sangno-seu (premium loin) katsu set?

What I ordered was Hunta Euljiro's sangno-seu (premium loin) katsu set and a Sprite. It came with rice, soup, salad, wasabi, mustard, tonkatsu sauce, salt, and even scallion kimchi.

Rice, soup, salad, wasabi, mustard, tonkatsu sauce, salt, and even scallion kimchi!! The scallion kimchi really goes well with it ,,,,, 😘❤️

There's all of that, but my favorite was gaban pepper ㅠㅠ It goes so well with the fatty part of the loin ,, the best 💗

Mustard and wasabi are really good too ,, the meat itself is just so good it tastes great with anything ㅠㅠ

And the rice and soup ,, it was basically beef radish soup. I really mixed rice into that clear soup and had a whole bowl
