Living up to its reputation as a Dandae-ogeori draft beer spot, the beer is managed strictly, so apparently it goes down especially smoothly. Unfortunately I was driving that day, so I settled for a non-alcoholic drink to get in the mood... but if you're not driving, you have to try a cold draft beer alongside your meal! This was my first visit to Jangjakgun, and the outdoor tent-dining atmosphere was so charming. In this kind of weather, having a drink outdoors with great food on the side is basically the definition of small, everyday happiness haha ## Who is Jangjakgun Main Branch best for? This is light, well-balanced chicken with the grease drained off, plus a subtle smoky flavor from the wood fire, so it sits easy on the stomach even as late-night food — and the spicy golbaengi-muchim pairing was the perfect finishing touch.
