I'd been wanting to try this place for months, and this time I finally had the time, so I went — figured I'd check out Songjeong Beach too! ## Weekend open-run? Arrived at 10:30 for the 11am opening I had other plans that morning and got there around 10:30, even though it opens at 11. I thought about walking Songjeong Beach first, but there were already so many people doing an open-run in front of the restaurant that we decided to eat first and sightsee later, haha. Picking a menu The menu is pretty diverse — first you decide between jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) or jajangmyeon (black bean sauce noodles), then choose between white jjamppong or spicy jajangmyeon. The food came out really fast! Since we did the open-run, we all walked in together, took a while deciding, and ordered a bit late — but the dishes still came out in order, one after another, super quickly. It's spicy, so if you can't handle heat, do NOT order this one. If you're spice-averse, order jajangmyeon or jjamppong at the mildest level! Doesn't it look amazing sizzling away! You need to let it sit for a bit like this. Once the sizzling calmed down we mixed it up — maybe a bit too much, lol. Seriously good. You could burn the roof of your mouth, haha. Can you see how thick it is? Packed full of shrimp. I remember eating it while going 'hot hot hot,' haha. We ordered the medium size and there was so much we had a little left over! On weekends, I'd say pre-book with a waiting app like Catch Table or keep checking wait status remotely and queue from afar! The inner space is set up for people waiting! There were tables on the other side too, and it was spacious.
