Hi everyone haha. Today's a lash extension review!! I've had a string of important events lately so I wanted to look a little prettier than usual 🤍 With so many photos being taken, I wanted my eyes to look defined even without heavy makeup, so I started looking into lash extensions in Yeoksam. This was actually my first time getting lash extensions ever, so what I wanted most was a style that looked naturally pretty like my own lashes, not flashy or artificial. After searching around, the place I visited stood out to me because it's not a beauty shop that also does other treatments — it's a lash-only specialist, which gave me confidence right away 👀 What really caught my eye in the reviews was that they don't just do one fixed design for everyone — they first check your eye shape and lash condition, then consult on the design based on the vibe you want. A lot of reviews said they suggest a style that naturally suits you rather than pushing for maximum volume, which felt perfect for me as a total lash extension beginner :) During the consultation I asked for something as natural as possible since it was my first time, and based on my eye shape and existing lashes, we went with a point extension mixing 11mm and 12mm lengths. You get treated solo on a comfortable bed! ## The 11mm and 12mm point extension: consultation and treatment I was treated by director Rahee at On The Boutique :) Since it was my first time with lash extensions, I told her from the consultation stage that I wanted something that didn't look obviously 'attached' or flashy, just naturally defined eyes. She carefully checked my eye shape along with the length and direction of my existing lashes, then we decided on a natural point extension using 11mm and 12mm. Instead of filling everything densely with one length, it's a design that uses 11mm and 12mm appropriately to create points, so I could expect a look that wasn't overly voluminous but still gave the impression that my original lashes were naturally long and defined 🤍 Since it was my first lash extension, I had no idea what length or design would suit me, but once I told her the vibe I wanted, director Rahee suggested a direction that naturally matched my eye shape, which made it easy for me to decide. ### How much is a retouch? ₩30,000 within 3 weeks I also liked that On The Boutique offers a ₩30,000 retouch within 3 weeks of the extension, giving a relatively generous management window. Getting lashes done nicely matters, but so does the maintenance and retouching afterward, right? If the retouch window is too short, it's kind of stressful to fit into your schedule, but with about 3 weeks of leeway, it's easy to touch up your look again around important events or appointments. It's not just a one-time treatment — being able to use the retouch means you can keep pretty lashes looking good for longer, which felt like a real advantage :) ## Before and after: do the lash extensions look natural? The most important part of any treatment is the before/after comparison, right?! All photos were taken with a regular camera, unedited :) Before the treatment, my lashes weren't exactly short, but they drooped downward — surprisingly, this is what I looked like even with an eyelash curler and mascara on.. And here's the moment of truth — after the treatment! I opened my eyes and was shocked! Exactly the super natural, prettier look I wanted. Up close it looks like this — she mixed 11mm and 12mm for the extension. And from a slight angle it looks like this haha. Even though I had removed all my eye makeup for the treatment, it looks like I'm wearing eye makeup anyway!! Bunching the tips slightly together made it more of a focal point haha. My makeup time has been cut by about 10 minutes, which has been so convenient lately. About a week later, they're still holding up and haven't fallen out haha. I'm so satisfied haha.
