A while ago, I wanted a jelly perm so badly that I went to another salon in Dongtan—and had a truly proper hair disaster^^…

They cut my hair in chunks, and the perm came out uneven on each side. The jelly perm I wanted vanished somewhere, and Tissuemom ended up with an ajumma perm instead, hahaha sobbbbbㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

After my hair turned into that, I absolutely had to wear it tied up whenever I went out.

They regularly checked whether I was uncomfortable, and throughout the service they checked my hair’s current condition and explained it accurately, so the time passed much faster than I expected.

Before, my perm made my hair stick out in every direction and look frizzy overall, but after the straightening it was definitely calmer. It wasn’t pressed super flat or stuck completely to my head, either—it controlled the overall frizz while letting my hair fall naturally!

Juno Hair Dongtan Solbitnaru Branch is right there when you get off the elevator. It uses the entire second floor, making it one of the particularly spacious and pleasant hair salons in Dongtan.

The main waiting area has a very large table plus soft chairs with backrests, so even if someone comes with you, they can wait comfortably. Truly one of the best things about it—according to someone who once waited 3 hours while Tissuedad got his hair done.

Unlike salons that put all your belongings into one standard locker, there are separate lockers for belongings and valuables. Women can leave accessories or valuables more safely, which helped me feel more at ease while getting my hair done.

Even the wall leading to the restroom is carpeted rather than finished with ordinary tiles or wallpaper, which seemed to noticeably reduce the risk of children getting hurt while walking by.

The restroom interior is decorated like a hotel, so it’s nice for photos, and there is also a diaper-changing station. I think visitors coming to the salon with a baby can get their hair done without worry.
