A day when I wanted both creamy pasta and thick, rich abalone porridge. Suddenly remembered the abalone innards cream risotto I had with a friend before, so off I went to Beomgye's Rodeo Street for pasta.

But every time, I end up sitting in the brightest spot, near the big window at the back of the restaurant. Tables are spaced wide throughout, so even though it's open seating, other groups are far enough away that you can chat freely over the meal without feeling self-conscious. A beach photo I hadn't noticed before, full of summer vibes, paired nicely with the cool, matte tile wall.

I absolutely had to have the abalone cream — but should it be pasta or risotto?

As soon as we sat down, warm morning bread with balsamic and olive oil arrived — soft and nutty, tasty enough to eat on its own.

I don't think this space existed before — a photo zone decorated with pastel flowers that felt seasonal and cheerful just to look at. Couldn't bring myself to actually sit there, so I used it as a backdrop for a few shots.

## Corn pizza with a chewy bake-dough crust

The corn pizza came out first. The dough looked slightly yellow, so I wondered if corn flour was mixed into it since it's a corn pizza. Looked it up and found out it was bake-dough — that explains the chewiness. Tasty even on its own.

Pizza truly should be cut and eaten the moment it arrives — that's the truth. I thought about waiting for the pasta to photograph and eat them together, but food should be eaten at its best. The toppings weren't piled thick, but they were evenly packed: corn that pops in your mouth, crisp potato chips, salty bacon, and cheese. I figured a thin crust wouldn't fill me up, but by the end, only one slice was left.

## Why the abalone innards cream pasta is worth a repeat visit

This is it — this is why I keep coming back to Two Find Peter. This rich abalone innards cream. I'd always had it as risotto, and was curious how it would be as pasta, so I picked the pasta. Ah... it's genuinely rich, nutty, and so delicious. My personal best menu item here.

### How big are the portions?

Like the pizza, the pasta portion here is bigger than at most other places, so someone with a small appetite might feel full after just half. But no chance of that for us haha. How could you leave behind this thick, nutty abalone innards flavor? We cleared it down to the very last spoonful.

Next time I'll come back for a full abalone party — both the abalone innards cream risotto and the pasta. After eating our fill, we grabbed an iced Americano and walked over to Pyeongchon Central Park, five minutes from the restaurant, and enjoyed the slightly cooler, almost-autumn weather 😆
