It was such a happy time, with cozy vibes and delicious nibbles. I’d really recommend it to round off a Daehangno play date, or to soak up some atmosphere before a night-view walk in Naksan Park 🤍 And Hyehwa is famously a blind-date spot, right? haha I truly recommend this as a bar for a first date too—I’ll tell you exactly why below 🍀 ## Hyehwarang location and visitor information Hyehwarang is at 22-3 Daehak-ro 14-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul. The real highlight of Hyehwarang is this terrace seating. Wine enjoyed with a cool breeze, delicate lighting, and charming landscaping right in front of you 🍷 How could that not make you happy? 🥹 It is the kind of weather where even brushing sleeves feels exciting—and add wine?! There was a range of red wines from ₩49,000! White wines started at ₩59,000 and sparkling wines at ₩49,000; one plus was that you could enjoy wine by the glass as well as by the bottle. You know those times when you want the wine-bar atmosphere but a whole bottle feels like a commitment! Hyehwarang lets you order just a glass, making it a comfortable wine bar to visit. I truly recommend it to anyone wanting a balance of sweetness, a proper wine flavor, and refreshment 🥹 The staff opened the wine and poured the first glass, which somehow made everything feel even more relaxed, haha. The strawberry jam and thick mascarpone cream cheese added sweetness to the plain crackers, making this a side dish that went really well with the sparkling wine. There were such generous amounts of crackers and mascarpone cream cheese that we could eat without running short until we finished the bottle. Most of all, the mascarpone cream cheese was wonderfully thick, with a rich dairy-cream flavor and a smooth finish! Do you know clotted cream? I absolutely love spreading clotted cream on bread or crackers, and Hyehwarang’s mascarpone cream cheese had a similar feel, so even people who do not usually like tangy cream cheese could enjoy it without hesitation. It was the definition of an atmospheric wine bar. There was no time limit, so we had a relaxed, happy time >_< I would really recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, lovely wine bar in Hyehwa.
