I came for dinner on a weekday evening. It's right in the Insadong area, so it's also a great spot to explore around before or after the meal :) It's close enough to the station that even a slow walk gets you there quickly — accessibility by public transit is pretty solid! Just a heads up, there's no parking available at the restaurant, so if you're driving, keep that in mind beforehand. The tables were also spaced generously apart, so moving around was comfortable and unhurried :) The interior has the feel of a converted hanok (traditional Korean house), giving it a different atmosphere from a typical restaurant. It was decorated in a way that felt both cozy and tidy overall, making it a comfortable place to eat! :) What surprised me most was that this was the very place my boyfriend and I first visited in the early days of dating! Back then it was a lamb chop restaurant, and now, four years later, it had turned into a gomtang restaurant. The staff didn't explain, so at first I was a little flustered not knowing which sauce would go better haha. A clear, light broth Wolhadong's Wolha Gomtang came out piping hot, with a clear, clean broth generously filled with pork — it really looked delicious! The clear, light pork gomtang was easy to eat without feeling heavy, and the cold jeyuk, a first for me, was a fun, different dish to enjoy alongside it. That said, the lack of separate explanation about the menu or sauces, and no goodbye when we left after the meal, were a bit disappointing.
