I was out having fun in Songjeong today and got a craving for pork cutlet for lunch, so I headed to Deli Donkatsu near Songjeong Station!

## Where do you park at Deli Donkatsu in Songjeong?

Deli Donkatsu sits on Songjeong-jungang-ro 9beon-gil near Songjeong Station in Haeundae-gu. We drove there, and they told us we could just park right in front of the restaurant! They said there's no parking enforcement, so parking on the street outside is fine.

## Deli Donkatsu's interior and seating: solo diners and groups

Walking into Deli Donkatsu, there were several neat wood-tone tables. It had a restaurant-like atmosphere, with solo seats for eating alone and group tables ready to go too. Orders are taken via table-side tablets, so ordering was easy and convenient. When we visited it was lunchtime and the place was packed. Since it's apparently a well-known Songjeong spot, it seems a lot of people come here for Western-style cutlet at lunch.

## Deli Donkatsu's menu and what to order together

The menu wasn't very long. With a short menu, you can feel the owner's focus on doing cutlet and only cutlet! A place that sticks to just cutlet dishes rather than spreading across many menus feels more trustworthy and likely to be delicious!

If you take part in their review event, they even throw in a chicken tender salad that's not even on the menu! We ordered the classic pork cutlet, the double classic pork cutlet, and the griddle cream kimchi fried rice! I wanted to try other cutlets too, but a lot of reviews said that while the other cutlets were good, the classic pork cutlet was the best, so we went with that! We were also super curious about the cream kimchi fried rice, so we ordered that alongside it!

## The 'Deli Tip' on the wall and the unlimited refills

The interior is decked out like a restaurant, and if you look at the wall, there's a note that says 'Deli Tip'! It says the pre-meal morning bread tastes great eaten together with the cutlet and salad. It also says rice and cabbage are unlimited refills!

### Pre-meal morning bread and soup at Deli Donkatsu

Here's the pre-meal bread and soup! The bread was a toasted morning bread roll, and the soup was cream soup! There's pepper next to it so you can season to taste! We tried dipping one piece of bread into the soup. The soup and toasted morning bread went really well together.

## Classic pork cutlet vs the double portion

Here are photos of the classic pork cutlet and the double classic pork cutlet. For the double, they give you one extra piece of cutlet! If one cutlet isn't enough for you, going with the double seems like a great choice. The classic pork cutlet really was true to the basics! They pour the sauce right over it, but if you ask, they'll give the sauce on the side instead. The combination of crispy cutlet and sauce worked really well together, and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting old-school Western-style cutlet! The salad also tasted exactly like the salad you'd generally get at a cutlet restaurant. It's the kind of guaranteed flavor that can't really go wrong haha. Eating it together with rice was so good.

## What does the griddle cream kimchi fried rice taste like?

This is the griddle cream kimchi fried rice. The kimchi fried rice has cream on it instead of cheese. At first I thought the topping was cheese, but it turned out to all be cream. This was my first time trying the combination of cream and kimchi fried rice, and it worked together better than I expected. I really enjoyed it.

### How to stuff the morning bread with pork cutlet and salad

I sliced open the morning bread, stuffed in cutlet and salad, and took a bite — it tasted like eating a homemade burger at home! Just like the tip written on the wall said, eating it this way was way tastier! Between the cutlet and the kimchi fried rice, we ended up super full. If you're with someone who eats a lot, ordering all three of these dishes together would make for a really hearty meal!

## Visiting Deli Donkatsu with kids: tables and amenities

There was a kids' table set up toward the back of Deli Donkatsu. It's there so children can eat a little more comfortably when families come to dine together. You could really feel the owner's thoughtfulness.

If you go around the back you'll find a self-serve water dispenser! There's also a setup so you can have coffee separately, so having a coffee after the meal seemed like a nice option too!

The restrooms are separated for men and women, and while there's a sink inside each restroom, there's also another sink right outside the restroom. That seemed handy for checking your face after finishing your meal! I couldn't take photos inside the restroom, but it was kept clean.

## Is Deli Donkatsu worth it for lunch in Songjeong, Busan?

If you're craving Western-style pork cutlet, I'd recommend giving Deli Donkatsu near Songjeong Station a try! I'd definitely recommend it as a Songjeong lunch spot.
