Because the colors were vivid, I was initially worried about color transfer and washed it separately. When I machine-washed it, I did not notice any color transfer, and it was still fine after washing. The edges have an overlock finish, so I was less worried about them fraying too. However, because of the material, you should avoid using a tumble dryer and washing it in hot water.
