I visited a pasta restaurant conveniently located between Magok Station and Magoknaru Station, with the taste, atmosphere, and value all covered. Located on the second floor of the Hillstate Eco Magok Station building, Oneul Pasta (오늘파스타) is just as fitting for lunch as it is for an evening date.

## Location and free parking information

First, the all-important location and parking information. If you are taking public transit, leave Magok Station through Exit 3 and come to the second floor of the NongHyup building visible on the left. From Magoknaru Station, leave through Exit 4, walk straight ahead, and enter the building opposite One Grove.

If you are driving, search for “76 Magokjungang-ro” or “Hillstate Eco Magok Station” in your navigation app to enter the building’s underground parking lot with ease. A meal includes 1 hour 30 minutes of free parking, so there is plenty of time to enjoy your food at a relaxed pace.

Crystal chandeliers sparkling across the ceiling create an elegant, upscale restaurant mood. The atmospheric reed decorations installed along the walls make the space feel even cozier and more comfortable.

A cheerful notice from the owner caught my eye. The “honey badger” owner, a former special-forces staff sergeant, says he will pour every bit of his labor into maintaining top-tier value for both the wallet and the heart—it naturally made me smile.

## Our order and the salad bar

For the salad bar, each table is set with wooden bowls, which you take over and fill with as much salad as you would like. There was fresh, crisp lettuce, croutons, and various toppings—and one tip you absolutely need to remember here.

Be sure to drizzle on the tangy, sweet lemon dressing. The salad bar also has cucumber pickles and spicy jalapeños that are perfect on the side.

First, I took a sip of the highball served in a pretty glass with a floating lemon slice. Its fresh flavor and fizz paired wonderfully with the pasta.

The pollock roe carbonara came out first, and both the generous portion and presentation were a work of art.

This was a dish I thoroughly enjoyed, with savory, nutty pollock roe in a thick, rich cream sauce. Fresh microgreens piled high and thin, crisp fried garnish brought varied textures; the sauce was so intensely flavorful that even after finishing the noodles, I kept scooping up more sauce.

## Crisp texture in level 2 spicy rosé risotto

Next came the spicy rosé risotto! It was so excellent that it could be called the highlight of the day. We ordered level 2 spice, and its pleasantly spicy kick perfectly cut through the richness that could otherwise come from the smooth, deep rosé sauce.

Most impressive of all was its one-of-a-kind texture. With every generous spoonful of soft risotto, unexpected crispy bits popped between the grains of rice and delighted the palate. It was deep and abundant in flavor with such a fun chew that, even when full, it was hard to put down the spoon.

## Thin-crust pizza made for dipping in sauce

The thin-crust gorgonzola pizza we had alongside it was topped generously with nutty cheese over a thin, chewy baked crust. It was delicious on its own, and dipping it deeply in sweet honey brought a perfect sweet-and-salty balance.
