It's one of my favorite spots for eating out with my kid. You get hinoki steam, shabu-shabu, and fresh spring rolls, plus an all-you-can-eat salad bar, but the best part is the kids room, so it's great to bring kids along haha. Weekday lunch runs from 11:00 to 15:00. ## What two adults and two preschoolers paid We went on a weekday evening. With 2 adults and 2 preschoolers, the bill worked out like this. - Adult ₩19,900 × 2 = ₩39,800 - Child ₩7,900 × 2 = ₩15,800 - Total ₩55,600 Kids can use the salad bar too, so the math is simple if you're a family visiting together. ## The kids room at Pyeonbaek Hoegwan The moment we sat down, the kids spotted the kids room at Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Dongtan Branch haha. The two of them went straight in and started playing. That meant we got to browse the salad bar in peace. We set the steamer going and grabbed a few things from the salad bar in the meantime. Once the steam was done, we opened the lid and dug in properly. The warm, steamed meat and bean sprouts together were light and tasty. It's a menu the kids can eat too, so it made feeding them easy. Since it's unlimited, you can order more if you run out — and we ended up going through two full plates of hinoki steam. There's a choice of two broths for the shabu-shabu. The vegetables are unlimited. If you run out, just go get more. We were already fairly full from the hinoki steam, but once the shabu-shabu started, somehow there was still room haha. Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Dongtan Branch has the wrap ingredients ready, along with rice paper. You just pick what you want and roll it yourself. From hinoki steam to shabu-shabu, spring rolls, noodles and porridge — we really ate through everything. ## Why Pyeonbaek Hoegwan works for a family dinner The biggest plus was definitely the kids having a blast in the kids room.
