Everything from the baek-kimchi (white kimchi) on down is refillable at the self-serve bar, which is nice to know. The staff kept restocking it regularly too, so it was always kept clean — loved that. We started warming up our stomachs with corn salad while ordering drinks... but you can't have a Korean BBQ meal without alcohol, right! OMG. We genuinely love galbi and eat it all the time, pork and beef alike, and honestly there's nowhere else with this quality at this price. Even the single-portion price (100g for ₩9,900) is already decent, but if you order the full plate it works out to about ₩8,900 per 100g, which is really good! But honestly the portion is so big that two people can get full just on that alone... whereas this LA galbi is something you absolutely have to order. So next time I'm planning to go light on the flower galbi (kkotgalbi-sal) or chuck flap (salchi-sal), and then order the LA galbi after. It came topped with egg garnish and meat, so the quality was solid, and it was exactly the taste that cools down a stomach full of grilled fat. If you're looking for a good restaurant near Suseonggu-cheong Station or Huimang-ro intersection in Suseong, Daegu, I highly recommend this place! Maybe because the hanwoo quality itself is so good, but even the LA galbi — despite the low price — is excellent, and honestly the best LA galbi I've had recently. I'm definitely ordering it again next time.
