I recently visited Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch, a taco and quesadilla spot near HUFS that's become well-known as a Tex-Mex restaurant! Let's start the review!

## Where is Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch and when is it open?

It's about a 1-minute walk from Exit 1 of HUFS Station, and about 2 minutes from the HUFS main gate. Head into the white building that has a burger joint in it, and go up to the 3rd floor.

## What is the 3rd-floor dining room like?

The interior of Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch felt totally Mexican. From the Mexican-style tile in front of the counter to cacti, Don Julio bottles, and Jarritos sodas, the whole interior really leaned into that Mexican feel!

There was a Mexican flag hanging on one wall too. As you can see behind it, the tables and seats are spacious, so the interior felt very comfortable.

The overall feel of the place is like this photo — definitely leaning into the Mexican theme while staying modern and clean, with a somewhat upscale atmosphere.

Toward the back there's a slightly more private seating area. This spot easily fits 5–6 people, so I'd totally recommend it for group gatherings!

Plates and utensils were already set on the table, and water, hot sauce, and napkins were set out nearby.

A little after you sit down, a staff member hands you a tablet. You order whatever you want using that tablet.

By the way, the AC is blasting pretty hard in here, so you might get a bit cold if you stay a while — but they thoughtfully provide blankets!

Also, the restroom is right by the elevator and was really clean, which I loved.

This is the menu at Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch. Their most famous items are the signature fajita and the Eaters combo platter, but there are also chimichangas, quesadillas, and various tacos, so you can mix and match sets or individual dishes however you like!!

First up was the carnitas quesadilla. It was way bigger than I expected, and the quesadilla was absolutely packed with filling!

Can you see it?! Ingredients practically spilling out of that tortilla..! So much filling, and it looked piping hot and delicious 🫶

Showing you the inside — carnitas pork, onion, pineapple, cheese, and a really tasty sauce all mixed together. So every bite was loaded with cheese and a bold sauce, making it more delicious than I expected!!

Picked up by hand, it was about the size of a slice of pizza. (Heads up — if you just hold it like pizza, the filling will spill out, so eat it off a plate!)

The quesadilla came with three sauces on the side: sour sauce, guacamole, and salsa.

Personally it was tasty on its own, but if you want more of that Tex-Mex feel, try topping it with the sour sauce and salsa! You'll get a more American-style quesadilla flavor haha

### Mexican bowl salad, 17,900 won

Next up, the Mexican bowl salad! There were several salad bowl options, but I went with the Mexican bowl since I wanted that Mexican feel.

The overall ingredients were basically the same Mexican-food base as the quesadilla or tacos. The biggest difference was the meat piled on top!

Eating it this way felt like scooping out just the filling of a taco haha

Interestingly, even though it tasted taco-like, it was mostly vegetables, so eating it alongside the quesadilla or tacos felt refreshing!

At the end I mixed the sauce, meat, and vegetables together! Eating it that way brings out a much stronger Mexican-style flavor compared to the initial cleaner taste! If you want it clean, don't mix; if you want more of that Mexican-style punch, I recommend mixing!

### Shrimp tacos 2pcs, 10,500 won

Lastly, the shrimp tacos arrived. It'd be a shame to visit a Mexican restaurant and not eat a taco, so I ordered the shrimp taco!

Plump shrimp along with various veggies and sauce were already piled on top, so there was no need to assemble anything myself, which was convenient! Just looking at it, it's so colorful — a fully finished visual ✨

One thing that personally surprised me was how big the tacos were! Tacos in Mexico are usually small and you eat several — maybe because Eaters does the Texan style, one taco was bigger than my hand lol

I put it on a plate and it took up the whole plate lolllll but honestly, even better 🔥🔥

Anyway, fold the taco carefully from both sides as you eat it! Just like it looks from above, the plump shrimp bites paired with the sauce and fillings inside made for a bold-flavored taco, like something you'd eat on a beach in the US!

## Final verdict and the best combo for two or three people

I've actually visited Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch several times — the set menus are well put together, and the interior is quite clean and comfortable, giving off a somewhat upscale-restaurant feeling haha. I usually order a set menu, but this time I ordered mainly the à la carte dishes I felt like eating! And this combo turned out to fit together so well — honestly, I personally found it more delicious than the food that comes with the set menus!!🥹🫶

<1 quesadilla + 1 taco + 1 salad bowl> — for a group of 2–3, I highly recommend this combo!!! The quesadilla is warm with cheese and seasoning that pair perfectly, and of course you have to order a taco when you're eating Mexican food. Add a salad or Mexican bowl on top, and it cuts through the richness — the perfect combo✨ (Personally, ordering the Mexican bowl really gives that authentic Mexican-food feeling, which I loved haha)
