It was squishy, with a slightly silicone-like feel that makes it easy for a child to use. It would not hurt even if it fell! I gave shampoo to my eldest, my elementary-schooler. The squishy look alone was already a pass. And the scent is seriously... so good. Such an elegant scent. Honestly, we had only used unscented products before, and that was a tiny bit of a shame—the subtle shampoo smell... But PLEVE's scent is safety-assured too, so it was nice to use without worry. My eldest was intoxicated by the scent too... (Sorry about all those years.)
