Among them, I stopped by Goobne Chicken Hongdae Red Road, known for grilling instead of frying. I feel like I've had Gochu Basasak (spicy crispy chicken) here a lot before. But there are plenty of other new menu items too. Sides are available and there's a lot to eat. True to a chicken that's grilled cleanly in the oven rather than deep-fried, the surface has a glossy sheen but looks clean and oil-free. Lifting up a big piece of Goobne Chicken, the outside is crispy while the inside is moist and full of juice.
