It was sweeter and tastier than I expected, so it paired well with the shabu shabu, a cup at a time. If you're a makgeolli fan, this alone might make you love the place. While it was set to boil, we started with the appetizer(?) of yeolmu (young radish) barley bibimbap that came out first. Because the broth had been simmering the whole time, it turned out rich and really tasty. With all the umami from the shabu shabu ingredients added in, dropping the noodles in felt like eating a totally different dish.
