I was hunting for a place with a nice atmosphere and found "Neoaehanu." It's close to Euljiro 3-ga Station and it's an aged hanwoo (Korean beef) restaurant with private rooms, and I was so happy with it. I went straight from Exit 1, turned right at the first alley, and there it was. It's on the 2nd floor of the building. ## What are Neoaehanu's private rooms like? Neoaehanu has a main hall and private rooms divided by partitions, and the rooms have a 4-person table by the window. From the moment I got to the 2nd floor, even the exterior felt calm and upscale. Right from the entrance you notice all kinds of wine bottles, and the purple-painted interior was so pretty. Peeking at the top-grade hanwoo aging away 🐮 got me excited before we even sat down~ There's a hall and rooms, and since we came around lunchtime, the hall had quite a lot of office workers on a team lunch! I took a few photos on the way out, once the guests had cleared. The rooms are separated with partitions like this, and I thought they'd be perfect for anniversaries or blind dates. Inside the partition there's a 4-person window-side table like this. Since it's a private room, the vibe was just so good. ### Booking a Neoaehanu private room on Naver This is the table we were shown to! Neoaehanu takes reservations on Naver, so I booked a room ahead, and they had everything prepared for our party size. So touched, haha It isn't noisy, so it's easy to focus on conversation, and since the staff grill the meat for you, there's no worry about the talk getting interrupted. I think it's perfect for meetings or business entertaining too. Then the star of the day made its entrance~~ The color alone was crazy. Once the pan heated up, they oiled it for the real grilling. Sizzle sizzle- potatoes, mushrooms and scallions went on first, then the brisket and striploin~ haha. I sat there obediently with my little chive-salad plate, waiting. You could tell the quality from the raw meat already :) They added a fresh scent with rosemary too, nice. Watch how much you use! Sizzling short rib meat. There's clearly a reason they grill it last! It's high in fat and oil, so it was just so good. It was generous enough for two to share comfortably.
