Jongno bakery picnic breads and coffee buns: Munhwa Bakery
Munhwa Bakery is a takeout bakery in Jongno, Seoul, near Jongno 3-ga Station. For a Cheonggyecheon picnic before the Hanwha fireworks festival, I picked coffee bread, an onion bagel, garlic bread, and walnut bread—and the group liked them even more than the chicken. Verdict: the soft coffee bread is the one I’m still thinking about.
