## In short

Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch is a charcoal-grilled black pork restaurant in Noyeong-dong, Jeju City, right near Jeju Airport. The writer's family ordered 4 servings of black pork belly (heukdwaeji ogyeopsal) for dinner, alternating bites with matcha salt, mel-jeot (fermented anchovy dipping sauce), shredded scallions and perilla leaves, and 3 hours of free parking nearby made it easy to fit into a rental-car day. Her father called it the most satisfying meal of the entire Jeju trip, so Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch is a safe bet for dinner with parents.

You've got to eat black pork at least once when you visit Jeju, right?? While looking around for where to go this time, I found Pork80, which is also known for being visited by Choiza (the rapper). Couldn't just pass that up! So I decided to have a proper black pork dinner with my family.

Let me spoil the conclusion a little: the meat quality was great, but what really made this place stand out was my dad's reaction. He said this was the most satisfying meal of the whole Jeju trip! If you're looking for a black pork restaurant near Jeju Airport to bring your family to, this one's worth keeping in mind.

## Where is Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch, and where do you park?

Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch is in Noyeon-dong, Jeju City, near Jeju Airport, so it fit nicely into our travel schedule. There's a nearby parking lot with 3 hours of free parking.

It'd work well whether you're eating right after landing at Jeju Airport or grabbing black pork on your last day before heading out. Parking matters more than you'd think when you're driving around Jeju, right? Since Pork80 offers 3 hours of free parking at a nearby lot, we didn't have to worry about it during the meal.

Walking up to the restaurant, a big black pork photo hung on the outside caught my eye right away. There were also photos related to Choiza's food show, so I immediately thought, 'oh, this is the place!' Knowing Choiza had visited, I was already curious what the meat would be like. If you're looking for a good black pork restaurant in Jeju City while traveling, this one's worth adding to your list!

## Inside Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch: easy family seating at 5pm

The inside of Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch was bigger than I expected, with quite a lot of tables. We went in around 5pm and there were already customers eating.

Once inside, the space felt more spacious than I'd imagined. With that many tables, it looked comfortable for groups, and with plenty of seating, it felt like an easy place to bring family.

We arrived around 5pm, a bit earlier than typical dinner time, but there were already several tables eating. Seeing people there before peak hours somehow got me even more excited.

## 4 servings of black pork belly and the side dishes that come with it

We didn't even hesitate — ordered 4 servings of black pork belly right away. The basic side dishes came out with lettuce wraps and vegetables, kimchi, scallion shreds, plus matcha salt, wasabi, and mel-jeot (fermented anchovy sauce).

Once we ordered, the side dishes came out one by one, and there were more pairing options than I expected. Beyond the basic wraps and vegetables, there was kimchi, scallion shreds, matcha salt, wasabi, and mel-jeot, so even one bite of meat could be switched up endlessly. Wait a second!! I have to talk about the matcha salt here!

At first I wasn't sure matcha salt would go well with black pork, but it ended up being the combo I reached for most often. More on that later. After a short wait, they brought out the charcoal grill and our black pork belly arrived quickly.

The moment the meat came out, it looked better than expected, so I looked twice. The black pork belly was cut into easy-to-eat pieces and plated neatly — not just tossed onto a plate, but arranged nicely, which made a great first impression!

![Neatly plated 4 servings of black pork belly](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-airport-black-pork-family-dinner-pork80/jeju-airport-black-pork-family-dinner-pork80-10-1f6tt-966.webp)

And the portion for 4 servings was substantial too. I thought, 'oh, this is more than I expected,' with the plate generously filled. The color of the meat and how the fat clung to the lean parts looked great, building anticipation before it even hit the grill. The plating was photogenic and you could see the meat quality with your own eyes — made the trip out to find a good black pork restaurant near Jeju Airport feel worth it. We started grilling pieces one by one on the charcoal. You know what — black pork sizzling away on charcoal is honestly the most exciting part.

The reddish surface turned golden as it took on the heat, and the fatty edges went slightly translucent before crisping up — just watching it made my mouth water!

## How does charcoal-grilled black pork belly taste at Pork80?

Pork80's black pork belly had a golden, slightly springy exterior with juicy, savory fattiness spreading inside. I tried the first well-grilled piece plain, without any sides.

The outside, touched by the charcoal, grilled golden with a slightly springy texture, and biting in released the juicy, savory richness the belly cut is known for. Instead of just chewing dry lean meat, the fat blended in smoothly, making each piece feel substantial.

I especially liked the roasted aroma the charcoal added to the surface. The fat was cooked through enough that it came off savory rather than greasy, while the lean parts had a nice chew, balancing well together. This is exactly why people go hunting for black pork restaurants in Jeju City, I thought!

## Matcha salt, perilla leaf, kimchi, scallions and mel-jeot: best pairings

My favorite combo with Pork80's belly was the matcha salt. Its salty flavor supported the meat's juiciness and richness without covering it, making the black pork's own flavor come through most clearly.

And yes, matcha salt really was my favorite. Dipping a piece lightly into it didn't overpower the meat with seasoning — the saltiness just backed up the juiciness and richness. That made it the best way to taste the black pork itself most clearly.

I tried other combos but kept coming back to matcha salt. You know how it goes — once you find a combo you like, you just keep reaching for it?? Of course, eating it as a wrap was also unmissable. Putting the meat on a perilla leaf, its fragrant aroma reset the richness of the belly and made the whole thing feel much fresher.

Wrapped in lettuce, the crisp, moist texture of the vegetable added something different from eating the meat alone. Partway through, I tried it with kimchi too — the tangy, salty kimchi against the savory fat of the belly definitely revived my appetite! Eating it with scallion shreds added a crunchy texture that made each piece feel a bit lighter,

and dipping it in mel-jeot brought out a clear umami, salty flavor. It was fun how the same black pork belly could give such different impressions depending on how you combined matcha salt, perilla leaf, kimchi, scallion shreds, and mel-jeot. That's why we never got tired of it through all 4 servings — chopsticks kept moving. Among black pork restaurants near Jeju Airport, this one is especially good for people who enjoy switching up their pairings like this.

## The meal her father rated best of the Jeju trip

Out of everywhere we ate on this Jeju trip, my dad picked Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch as the most satisfying meal — even though we'd tried quite a few places in Jeju.

It's nice when I personally enjoy a meal, but on family trips, it feels especially rewarding when my parents enjoy it too — like I picked the right restaurant. If you want black pork near Jeju City's airport, or a spot for your first or last meal of a Jeju trip, the location here works well.

With 3 hours of free parking, it was also convenient to visit by car. If you love the natural savory taste of black pork like I do, try the first piece dipped lightly in matcha salt — personally, that combo stuck with me the most out of everything! Our whole family left full, and with my dad satisfied too, Pork80 became a memorable black pork spot near Jeju Airport for me. Next time I'm craving black pork in Jeju, I'd love to stop by again. If you're looking for a black pork restaurant in Jeju City, give Pork80 a try :)
