And such good value too 🎷 To celebrate our third wedding anniversary, my partner and I visited Allegro, a newly opened jazz restaurant in Jamsil~~!~! 🎷🥂 We went because we heard it had a lovely atmosphere, and honestly... we came away satisfied, satisfied, SO satisfied!!! When I visited, they said it had only been open for around two weeks~ Maybe that is why the restaurant was so spotless and every little detail felt thoughtfully considered! Personally, I really think this is a place that is going to become more and more famous~~!~! Everyone, hurry and visit before it gets even more popular haha!! ## Allegro location and performance schedule It is a three-minute walk from Exit 2 of Songpanaru Station (Line 9)! The jazz stage is at the front, with an LP player and wine cellar off to one side. However, I think it would be difficult to see the jazz performance from those seats, so it would be especially lovely to use it at lunchtime when the weather is good! The restrooms are inside the restaurant and separated by gender. But even the restrooms were decorated so beautifully haha. Music was playing inside, and they even had mouthwash ready! If you are looking for pasta or Italian dishes at a good Bangi-dong restaurant, I definitely recommend the gnocchi! ### Sous-vide pork neck steak The highlight of the day: the sous-vide pork neck steak~~!~! They said thick cuts of domestic pork neck were sous-vided, then seared crisp on the outside! It was golden outside and moist within, so very tender. The sauce served with it was gently sweet and savory, and went so well with the meat~~!~! The playing was so good, and the vocalist was such a wonderful singer that we were completely absorbed in the atmosphere the whole time 🥹 There were instrumental solo moments here and there too, so we applauded after each one! It was a relaxed, free atmosphere rather than anything too formal, so even we, who do not know much about jazz, could enjoy it comfortably! ## Why we enjoyed it even without knowing much about jazz There must be many people like us who do not know much about jazz! But something I really loved was that before each song, the vocalist briefly explained what it was about and what kind of mood it had! They also told us what kind of scene might be nice to imagine while listening, so we could enjoy the performance much more. Knowing about a song before hearing it made it far more immersive and enjoyable than simply listening~~!~! And when you do visit on a special day, Allegro makes it even more special~~!~! It would be wonderful for dates, anniversaries, and birthdays, of course, but also for a day when you simply want an evening with a lovely atmosphere! I loved it so much after actually visiting that I have already recommended it to lots of friends~~!~! 💛 Since it has not been open long, I personally hope you will visit at least once before it becomes even more popular!!!
