As I've gotten older, my digestion has started acting up sometimes....ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ

So yesterday! Looking for somewhere selling light, easy-on-the-stomach dishes like salad and poke after work, I ended up visiting 'PARENTS Coffee & Salad Jungang-dong Branch'~~

Given the office-heavy Jungang-dong commercial district, lunch demand from office workers seems to be the main draw!

In the evening, it felt like delivery and takeout orders outnumbered dine-in customers. Both the interior and exterior were clean and no-frills~~

## What's on the menu, and how does the lunch discount work?

Looking at the menu, I liked that there was a diverse lineup of light-but-filling healthy food — salads, poke, pasta salad, wraps, burritos, sandwiches!

Drinks also ranged widely, from fruit juice to protein drinks to coffee. Origin labels for each ingredient were clearly posted, which boosted my trust in the quality!!

At the entrance, there was a sign for a lunch-time (11:00–14:00) discount event~ ₩1,000 off per person for groups of 2 or more is pretty big!! But since I came in the evening ㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ it didn't apply to me...

## Ordering dinner takeout: three dishes and picking the dressings

I wanted to order the salad with premium raw salmon, but it was already sold out since it was late ㅠㅠㅠ Guess the raw salmon is popular!

As a backup, I ordered three menu items for takeout: Seasoned Shrimp Salad (₩10,000), Herb-Aged Chicken Breast Salad (₩9,500), and Chicken Breast Burrito Wrap (₩6,900).

For dressing, I picked sriracha mayo for the Seasoned Shrimp Salad and sesame dressing for the chicken breast salad! The wrap comes with a set dressing already, so no need to choose separately~~

## How well did the takeout containers hold up?

The packaging was excellent! The dedicated containers were sealed firmly shut, so nothing — not the contents nor the dressing — leaked at all on the way home.

Once I got home and unpacked, even though these are meant to be light dishes, the amount of toppings was more generous than expected ❤️

## How the chicken breast salad, shrimp salad and burrito wrap tasted

The Herb-Aged Chicken Breast Salad had softly cooked chicken breast slices with a colorful mix of red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, corn kernels, and mashed toppings. The nutty sesame dressing paired nicely with the fresh vegetables!

The Seasoned Shrimp Salad was the tastiest of the three. (Maybe because it's the priciest ㅋㅋㅋㅋ) It came generously loaded with plump herb-seasoned shrimp with a nice bite, and the sriracha mayo dressing added a pleasant spiciness to what could otherwise be a bland salad!

The Chicken Breast Burrito Wrap had fresh lettuce, red cabbage, chicken breast, a special sauce, and grain rice rolled tightly into a thin tortilla with no gaps. Easy to eat by hand yet filling.

Despite being a light meal, it was packed with fresh ingredients that left me quite satisfied afterward — PARENTS Coffee & Salad Jungang-dong Branch, a Jung-gu, Busan spot for salad, poke, and burrito wraps! It seems like a great option when a heavy dinner feels like too much, or when you need to manage your diet.
