Today I'm sharing a story about the tasty desserts and drinks I had in Sajik-dong. This time I visited a café called CORR.

## CORR's location, hours, and parking

📍 Location

About 750m from Sajik Station Exit 2
⏰ Hours
Daily 09:00–22:00

🚗 Parking available
There's a dedicated CORR parking lot behind the café.

The entrance bump into the parking lot is a bit high, so I'd recommend pulling in slowly at a diagonal angle. On weekends, you can also park in the alley next to the café.

I was looking for a café in Sajik-dong and found CORR, which apparently already has word-of-mouth fame as a financier spot. They prepare a variety of handmade desserts baked fresh every day, so it seemed like a place dessert lovers would be drawn to.

## The atmosphere — much more spacious than expected

Visiting in person, the café was much bigger than I expected! You'd usually picture dessert cafés as cute, small spaces, but CORR's interior was so roomy that it never felt cramped at all. The overall vibe was quiet and cozy too, making it comfortable to sit and chat.

What I especially liked was that there are separate private rooms.

There are two private rooms in total, so beyond regular café use, they'd also work well for meetings, small gatherings, or study sessions. The space is genuinely large, so it looked like it could comfortably fit a group.

## What I ordered — grapefruit ade, two financiers, and dujjonkoo

For my drink that day, I ordered the handmade grapefruit ade.

And since everyone says you have to try the financiers at CORR, I picked out some desserts too. In the end I ordered a handmade grapefruit ade, dujjonkoo, a Lotus financier, and a chocolate Lotus financier.

It turned out dujjonkoo had just been newly released. I already love dujjonkoo, so the moment I heard about the new menu item I ordered it right away haha.

### Handmade grapefruit ade

First I tried the handmade grapefruit ade. From the first sip there was a sharp fizz along with grapefruit's signature tart, sweet flavor rushing up, and after drinking it my mouth felt really refreshed. In particular, the tartness and just-right sweetness of the grapefruit balanced well, so it wasn't an ade that was just overwhelmingly sweet.

It went even better alongside the desserts. While eating sweet things like the financiers or dujjonkoo, taking a sip of the grapefruit ade felt like it reset my palate! Because it's handmade, the grapefruit's tartness felt even more natural, and with the carbonation added, it was a refreshing drink that lifted my mood too.

### Lotus financier

And then the Lotus financier I'd been looking forward to! With Lotus biscuit pieces on top, it was more fun to chew than a plain financier. The sweet, nutty flavor unique to Lotus went well with the financier, and biting into the Lotus pieces here and there made the texture interesting too.

Above all, I loved how soft the financier itself was. Pick the wrong financier and it can be too dry, sucking all the moisture out of your mouth, but CORR's financier had none of that dryness and was soft to eat, which I really liked. The outside had a nicely baked feel while the inside stayed soft, so it seemed like it would pair well with coffee or other drinks too. I could see why CORR has built a word-of-mouth reputation as a Sajik-dong dessert spot.

### Chocolate Lotus financier

Next, the chocolate Lotus financier! As the name suggests, this is the Lotus financier with chocolate added. It's a combination that would be hard for chocolate lovers to dislike haha. With Lotus's sweet, nutty flavor plus chocolate's rich depth added in, it was noticeably sweeter than the regular Lotus financier. Still, the chocolate flavor wasn't so overpowering that it drowned everything else — the financier's nutty flavor still came through, which I liked. Personally, if you like chocolate desserts, I'd recommend trying this one.

### New menu: dujjonkoo

And finally, the dujjonkoo I'd been looking forward to! Dujjonkoo — what can I say, haha. I really enjoyed it. I especially loved that it was packed with pistachio inside. With one bite, the rich, nutty flavor of pistachio hit right away, and combined with the chewy texture, I kept reaching for more.

## To sum up

Overall, every single menu item I ordered that day was satisfying. I especially liked how soft the financiers were, and the flavor and texture changed depending on the toppings like Lotus or chocolate, which made it fun to pick and choose.

The handmade grapefruit ade was also sweet, tart, and fizzy in a way that paired perfectly with the desserts. Above all, the café is spacious with a quiet, cozy atmosphere, so it felt less like a place you just grab dessert and leave and more like a space worth lingering in. With two private rooms as well, it looked like a solid option for anyone looking for a spot for study sessions, small gatherings, or meetings.

If you're looking for a café in Sajik-dong to try financiers or a variety of handmade desserts, I'd recommend giving CORR, a Sajik-dong dessert spot, a visit.
