Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch is an udon and tonkatsu restaurant right in front of Exit 6 of Daeyeon Station in Nam-gu, Busan. Today I'm bringing you another Daeyeon-dong udon recommendation — I went back to Misikga-ui Udon, the place I visited before. I still remembered how good the tonkatsu and cold soba were last time.

This time I ordered a little differently: the combo set (udon), cold soba tonkatsu, and even a fried egg (hard yolk).

Bottom line up front: I got to enjoy warm udon, cool soba, and crispy tonkatsu all in one sitting, so this visit was satisfying again :)

## Why return to Misikga-ui Udon in Daeyeon-dong, Busan?

Misikga-ui Udon sits right in front of Daeyeon Station Exit 6, so it's an easy place to find.

![Street in front of Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch near Daeyeon Station Exit 6](https://img.superchart.com/images/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit-01-z02s7-900.webp)

Being so close to the station, it's convenient whether you come by public transit or by car.

The restaurant is on the 1st floor of the building, so the sign is visible from far away and first-time visitors should find it easily.

We came by car again this time.

## Where do you park? The lot behind the building, with 1 hour covered

Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch has a parking lot set up behind the building, and all lots offer 1 hour free. You just pick up a parking ticket after your meal.

What I liked most was the rear entrance that connects straight from the parking lot into the restaurant. When it's raining or you're visiting with a kid, the distance from the parking lot to the store can be a bit of a hassle — but being able to walk right in was really convenient.

Parking wasn't a burden at all. If you're looking for somewhere to eat in Daeyeon-dong and you're driving, this is a pretty solid advantage.

## Inside Misikga-ui Udon: bar seats or group tables?

Walking inside, the place was just as neatly kept as last time.

The wood-tone interior gave it a warm feel, and overall it was bright and comfortable, good for a meal.

There's bar-style seating that's great for solo dining, as well as tables for larger groups.

I thought it's a space that works well whether you're eating alone or with friends and family.

## How to order at Misikga-ui Udon more easily

Inside the store, there was also a guide posted on 'how to enjoy Misikga-ui Udon more easily.'

If it's your first visit, checking this guide first might make ordering a lot easier.

The origin labeling was also clearly posted throughout the restaurant, so you could check it before ordering.

That's the kind of thing that quietly matters when you're eating out.

I took photos of it, so it might be helpful for anyone planning to visit.

## Side dishes and what we ordered at Misikga-ui Udon this time

Once we sat down, the basic side dishes were served first. They were neatly prepared and nice to snack on before the meal.

We thought about what to order this time and ended up going with this.

![Table with the dishes ordered this visit](https://img.superchart.com/images/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit-15-19ixm-900.webp)

- Combo set (udon)
- Cold soba tonkatsu
- Fried egg (hard yolk)

I wanted warm udon, and I also thought of the cold soba tonkatsu I loved last time, so I ordered both again.

As the dishes came out one by one, the table filled up and looked quite generous.

![A generous spread of udon and soba dishes](https://img.superchart.com/images/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit-17-b0m6k-900.webp)

Now it was time to taste each dish. First, since I was craving warm broth, I started with the combo set (udon).

## The combo set (udon): warm, clean-tasting broth

The combo set (udon) at Misikga-ui Udon Daeyeon Direct Branch comes with warm udon plus tonkatsu. Since I wanted warm udon this time, I went with the combo set.

![Combo set udon served with tonkatsu](https://img.superchart.com/images/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit-18-t3l3n-900.webp)

It wasn't just udon — the tonkatsu that came with it made it feel like an even more filling meal.

I tried the udon broth first, and rather than being intensely rich, it had a clean, easy-to-eat flavor.

The warm broth went well with the noodles, and the noodles had a springy texture that made them easy to slurp up.

Then I tried the tonkatsu that came with it. The outside was fried crispy while the inside felt moist and tender.

![Cross-section of crispy-fried tonkatsu](https://img.superchart.com/images/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit-19-lld15-900.webp)

The breading wasn't too thick, so you could really taste the pork itself,

![A piece of tonkatsu with thin breading](https://img.superchart.com/images/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit-20-659wj-900.webp)

and the combination with the udon was pretty good too.

![Tonkatsu eaten alongside udon broth](https://img.superchart.com/images/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit-21-z0df3-900.webp)

Filling up on warm udon while also getting crispy tonkatsu meant the combo set alone made for a hearty meal.

I thought this kind of combo would be especially fitting on a chilly day or whenever you're craving something warm and brothy.

## Cold soba with tonkatsu: just as good the second time

And I ordered the cold soba tonkatsu again, which I'd also enjoyed last time.

![A fresh order of cold soba tonkatsu](https://img.superchart.com/images/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit-22-yozf2-900.webp)

Since it was a dish I'd already tried, it felt even more welcome this time. :)

Eating the noodles with the cool, clean broth of the cold soba left my mouth feeling refreshed.

The noodles were chewy and springy, and the portion was generous enough to make a full meal.

With tonkatsu on the side too, it was fun alternating between the warm, crispy tonkatsu and the cool cold soba.

It was a dish I enjoyed last time, and eating it again was just as satisfying.

## Coffee corner after the meal, plus soju and draft beer at 1,990 won

After finishing the meal, I noticed there was also a coffee corner set up in one part of the restaurant.

![Coffee corner in one part of the restaurant after the meal](https://img.superchart.com/images/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit/misikga-udon-daeyeon-parking-revisit-24-1rnt5-900.webp)

It seemed nice to grab a simple cup of coffee and rest a bit after the meal. Being able to handle everything from the meal to dessert in one place was a plus.

Another thing that caught my eye was that soju and draft beer are each sold for ₩1,990.

With the price being so low, it seems like a good option for anyone who wants a light drink alongside udon or tonkatsu. I thought it would also be a nice spot for a simple evening drink, not just a meal.
