## In short

Nahonsha is a solo shabu-shabu restaurant on Dokmak-ro near Hapjeong Station in Mapo, Seoul, with a bar-table layout where every seat has its own built-in induction stove. On a last-minute meetup with a friend, each person chose spicy broth for their own pot, added the fresh kalguksu noodles included in the set plus a side of konjac noodles, and added garlic and minced chili to the dipping sauce straight from the personal kiosk. Between the wood-tone interior and the open kitchen, Nahonsha works just as well for a solo meal as for two.

## Why a last-minute Hapjeong dinner ended up at Nahonsha

Met up with a friend after ages! Landed in Hapjeong on a total whim, haha — figured we'd grab dinner, and after debating what to eat, we ended up at a shabu-shabu place.

Walking in, I was surprised the place was way cleaner and had a better vibe than I expected!!! My friend and I walked in together and said this was the nicest interior we'd ever seen at a solo shabu-shabu spot, haha.

## Solo bar tables with an induction stove built into every seat

As you can see in the photo above, Nahonsha has a solo bar-table layout, perfectly optimized for solo diners!!! Each seat has its own induction stove neatly built in, so even if you come as two, you can each eat your own way, no problem.

And the interior has that wood-tone vibe ~ it's bright and warm wood-tone throughout, so I feel like photos would turn out really pretty (though I was a total mess that day, bare-faced and wearing a hat, so I skipped the photos). I saw quite a few couples there taking pictures too!!

And!!!!!! It was honestly cleaner than I expected. When I check out a restaurant,

"hygiene and cleanliness" is really important to me, and I loved that the kitchen was managed as an open kitchen!!!!!! Same with the tableware — thanks to the individual pot system, even people who are usually sensitive about hygiene can eat here fully satisfied, for real.

## One pot each: picking your own broth and eating at your own pace

The biggest charm of Nahonsha is, no matter how you slice it, fresh ingredients and a clean flavor tailored exactly to your taste. And now, the moment we've been waiting for!!!!!!! The food!!!!!!!! Since you each get your own pot, you can pick the broth that suits your palate and enjoy shabu-shabu entirely at your own pace — that was the biggest perk.

And the vegetables that came out were pretty fresh too! The meat!!!! too!!! If you look at the photos, the color was insane — quality meat and vegetables served in a clean, tidy spread.

## Fresh kalguksu noodles in the set, konjac noodles as a side

Oh and!!!!!!!!! When you order the Nahonsha set, a serving of noodles is basically included! Here's the important part!!!!!!! The kalguksu (knife-cut noodle) noodle serving is "fresh noodles"!!!!! I'm on a diet, so I'd been thinking regular wheat-flour kalguksu noodles felt like too much of a carb burden, but since they were fresh noodles, it worked out great, haha.

+ Even the side add-on menu has konjac noodles!!!!!!! So I added those too and they were seriously delicious;; I'm someone who loves spicy food so I went with the spicy broth, and it was the best.

Oh and one more thing!!!!! I didn't manage to get a photo of the menu, ugh, but they also have mala broth!!!!! Gotta try the mala broth next time.

## Adding garlic and minced chili to the sauce at the personal kiosk

Oh this is about, haha, the sauce!!!!!!! and the garlic and minced chili to add to it. I like my sauce with a bit of a kick, so I was about to ask them to add it, but there was already an add-on option right there on the personal kiosk at each table!!!!!!

> Whoever set this up really knows what they're doing, this is genius

## Is Nahonsha worth going back to for solo shabu-shabu in Hapjeong?

Anyway, this was just shabu-shabu we ended up eating after a last-minute meetup, but the vibe was great, the food was great, so~ it was totally great. Strongly recommend.

<Asked AI to write a closing for me> If you want a clean solo meal near Hapjeong, or you want to visit with a friend and each enjoy a broth and menu suited to your own taste, this is a place I'd strongly recommend to you. With its vibe, flavor, and value for money all in check, why not try a warm bowl of solo shabu-shabu this weekend at Nahonsha, a new hot spot in Hapjeong? This post was written as an honest, subjective review after receiving a service (sponsorship) from the business. That's what it says. Boring.

![The Nahonsha table after the meal](https://img.superchart.com/images/hapjeong-solo-shabu-spicy-broth-konjac/hapjeong-solo-shabu-spicy-broth-konjac-12-11tki-966.webp)

Well... anyway, a pretty vibe + great food + even a healthy menu, so it's a perfect spot for a date even while dieting!!!!!!!!!!!! What do you think about Nahonsha? Go give it a try, I recommend it~

Overall I was completely satisfied ~ this is genuinely an honest review. If the food weren't good I'd... let it show a little in the review, for real. But it was seriously delicious. I'll probably go again, haha. That's all, 20000.
