Walking in, the vibe was more trendy and cozy than I expected. There were singer posters on the walls, giving you something to look at, and above all the whole place felt really well kept and clean. Since it was weekend lunchtime, there were quite a few families eating there. In particular, a lot of tables had ordered several pizzas and pastas to share among the family. There seemed to be a decent amount of delivery orders too — delivery riders kept coming in while I was there. It was nice to nibble on while waiting for the pasta. The dishes I ordered that day were the flank steak + grilled vegetables (₩16,900) and the beef bulgogi aglio olio (₩9,900). The prices are really kind. Honestly, the steak itself wasn't a fancy-tasting cut. But it's ₩16,900, haha. You're not supposed to go in expecting a premium steak — if you think of it as getting steak plus grilled vegetables for around ₩17,000, it's more than reasonable. Surprisingly, the fries that came with it were tasty too. Nice and crispy, and the asparagus was good as well. ### Why the grilled vegetables were actually the best part Honestly, I liked the grilled vegetables even more than the steak. Along with the asparagus, there was grilled cabbage and broccoli, and it was way tastier than I expected. These are vegetables I'd normally just skip over, but grilling them brought out a sweetness that went really well with the meat. The grilled cabbage in particular was seriously delicious, haha. I usually order aglio olio with shrimp in it, so this was my first time trying it with beef bulgogi. But this combo was seriously delicious, haha. The fat rendered from the beef bulgogi was intense, giving the pasta a really rich, savory flavor. With the garlic aroma and the greasy richness of the meat coming through together, it had a totally different charm from a regular shrimp aglio olio. If you're a meat lover, the beef bulgogi aglio olio is worth trying. ## A comfortable Nowon spot to visit with family Overall, Pasta Han Kki was a solid choice when you want pasta, pizza or steak without worrying about the bill. Don't go in expecting a super refined flavor — think of it as a place to casually enjoy a variety of dishes at low prices, and you'll likely be satisfied. Given how many tables were families ordering several pizzas and pastas to share on a weekend lunch, it seems like a good spot for a family meal out, a light brunch, or a casual lunch with friends. Next time I visit, I think I'll order the beef bulgogi aglio olio again rather than the steak, haha.
