The name Hurato comes from the Japanese word ふらっと, an adverb meaning "suddenly, on a whim." Apparently three young owners took an impulsive trip to Tokyo one day, fell in love with the flavors and cozy atmosphere of small local eateries there, and opened this place to recreate that feeling near Gyeongbokgung.
