Maybe because it’s halal-certified, but the meat preparation definitely seemed different. The platter’s charm is how filling it is: mix the meat, rice, vegetables, and pita bread with white sauce and hot sauce, and everything is in one bowl. The gyro sandwich tastes like Greek souvlaki the moment you bite into it!
