Walking into Pepite, the lighting was warm and the whole place felt comfortable. I visited in the evening, and thanks to the warm lighting it was easy to enjoy a calm, atmospheric meal. Being cream-based, I thought it might feel a bit heavy at first, but once I actually tried it, it had the softness of cream without being heavy at all — and it was so good!! The ragu sauce, rich with a deep meaty flavor, had soaked well into the noodles, so every bite delivered plenty of sauce flavor.
