So, to live up to expectations(?) today is another bar post ㅠ hahahahaha Sometimes I feel like I am not acting my age at 34, but most solo-drinking bars ban entry from age 40 anyway, right? I have even seen places where people born in 1990 cannot get in. Even without an age limit, I do not think I have much time left for this vibe. I will go until I am 40 at the latest, so please put up with me for just six more years ㅠ Uyeonin (우연인) is closer to Noksapyeong Station on the map, but it is not far if you stroll over from Itaewon Station too. It has vodka and Disaronno: clean vodka with the sweetness of almond. It has cognac and Disaronno. It is cognac’s smoothness with sweet almond flavor. At 4% ABV, it is practically a soft drink to me. They are pickup bars, an animal kingdom.” But so what if it is for meeting people, and so what if it is for drinking alone? People meet at regular bars too. If you go expecting to drink alone and the “we are the world~!” atmosphere feels overwhelming, you can just retreat home. If you go expecting “we are the world” and it is a solo-drinking atmosphere like a study room, say hello and start a conversation or something. What is the big deal ㅇㅅㅇ Uyeonin offered both a “we are the world” atmosphere and a genuinely true solo-drinking experience. I recommend it to people who are happy with either, haha.
