You do have to head up to the third floor, but there is an elevator, so it is easy enough. It is really close to Exit 13 or 14 of Sadang Station—probably not even a two-minute walk. This is already a great neighborhood for meeting people coming from different areas, and being so close to the subway makes it an ideal spot for making plans, doesn’t it? Just a heads-up: you can register for the waitlist with Catchtable at the entrance. The wait can get long, so making a reservation beforehand would still be more comfortable, right? A notice says that if there are more than two parties waiting, you should wait outside. Wow, though—I had no idea it would be this spacious. The tables were well spaced apart, which was great, and above all, the huge windows flooded the room with sunlight. It made the place feel brighter and far less closed-in. Wouldn’t it be even lovelier at night? Since it is a nice place for a pasta date near Sadang Station, I expected lots of diners in their twenties and thirties, but the guests covered a wide range of ages. It had squid ink’s distinctive deep, savory flavor, a salty taste, and a little heat that came through at the end? It was not overly intense, though, and it was delicious. Risotto can sometimes start to feel rich as you eat it, but this one never did. Just be careful on a date, because your mouth might turn black, right?
