It is a large bakery café near Gangnam Station, running from the basement first floor up to the third floor, so it felt relatively relaxed even on the weekend. Above all, the bakery selection was seriously varied, with several kinds of salt bread—from the currently trendy waxppu salt bread to mentaiko salt bread—which I loved. They even had fig desserts, which we both adore, so we picked out all sorts of things and had a delicious time, haha. ## The red-brick building near Gangnam CGV Bakerist Brown is located near Gangnam CGV. There were so many choices: fig pavlova, fig kouign-amann, fig croissants, Gangnam Sand Cookies, banana pudding, pistachio mugwort crumble, and more. When we cut it open, it was packed with mentaiko cream. The moment Yuyong and I took a bite, we kept saying how good it was and seriously considered buying another one, haha. The bottom was baked crisp, while the bread itself still had that lovely chew, and the savory mentaiko cream inside went so well with it. The crisp meringue was piled with fresh cream, figs, and blueberries! It shattered at the touch of a fork and melted away in the mouth, which was such a nice texture. It contains eight sandwich cookies, each in a different flavor. The box was pretty, and the colorful cookies inside were so cute that they almost felt too nice to eat...ㅠㅠ I tried the Earl Grey and caramel flavors. The cookies were buttery and soft, crumbling gently in the mouth, while the filling had a rich ingredient-forward aroma and a dense texture. It paired deliciously with the soft cookies. And the new black sesame latte! The black sesame cream on top was thick and nutty, which was delicious. The glass was petite, so I happily finished it in three sips. ## Mentaiko salt bread I want to eat again Bakerist Brown had such a wide selection, from breads to desserts! Its large space from the basement first floor through the third floor made it relatively comfortable to sit and relax even on the weekend, and with so many bakery choices such as salt bread and pastries, it is a place I would recommend to bread lovers. Especially the mentaiko salt bread that both of us fell for!
