## Where is Petrico in Seogyo-dong?

Petrico is a dessert spot in Hapjeong, located on Jandari-ro near the Seogyo-dong Community Center, right between Hongdae and Hapjeong. This stretch of Seogyo-dong is full of publishing houses, and maybe because of that, the cafés tucked among them tend to have a calm, quiet atmosphere — perfect for reading or getting work done.

### Petrico hours and parking

- Mon–Fri 8am–10pm
- Sat–Sun 10am–8pm

It's a newly opened café in a new building, and the polished, stylish vibe won me over from the exterior alone. There's parking behind the building too, so it seemed like a great option when you're looking for a café with parking near Hongdae or Hapjeong.

## Seating and interior at Petrico

Walking into Petrico, a dessert café in Hapjeong, I loved the range of table setups that gave it that aesthetic-café feel. The two-seat tables were neat wooden setups, and there was a quiet space toward the back for focused work. For groups, there's a big round table that looked like a good option too.

Overall, Petrico, this Hapjeong dessert café, seemed to put a lot of thought into lighting and furniture layout, and there were plants scattered throughout — clearly some plant-interior effort went in too.

Inside the red-brick building, which brings to mind an elegant European building, you can look out at lush green scenery outside — a very healing kind of atmosphere.

With quiet music playing and a nice vibe overall, it seemed like a great place to get work done, and also a solid choice for a Hongdae date course.

Part of the fun of visiting cafés is admiring the interior, and being a newly opened, brand-new café in Hapjeong, I was totally taken with its polished, tasteful atmosphere.

## Petrico soufflé pancake menu

Petrico's main menu item is the soufflé pancake, which takes a lot of hands-on effort and time to make among desserts, so it's the kind of menu you only find at places that really know what they're doing with dessert. Since soufflé pancake is Petrico's actual signature menu, I could order with confidence. The lineup includes a Plate pancake that works as a full brunch with a big sausage, egg scramble, and a small salad, plus a Fruit soufflé pancake served with fruit, and a Chocolate soufflé pancake to enjoy with chocolate.

### Original Platter Soufflé Pancake as brunch

I ordered the Petrico Original Platter Soufflé Pancake, which was made for a brunch-style meal, and I loved the generous, stylish plating.

The salad, with fresh greens, nuts, cherry tomatoes, and a balsamic glaze, was fresh and bright-tasting, and the sausage had a nice charred, smoky flavor from grilling. The egg scramble made for a nutritionally balanced brunch item, and eating it alongside the soufflé pancake — which melted like cotton candy — really brought out the flavor even more.

## What are the drinks like at Petrico?

Petrico's drink menu had americano and café latte, plus an ambitious lineup of matcha latte and milk tea varieties. The milk tea in particular seemed to be sold in bottles too, which looked great for takeout.

## Is Petrico worth a visit near Hongdae and Hapjeong?

This was my first time enjoying a soufflé pancake as a brunch platter, and the combination of sausage, egg scramble, and fresh salad greens worked really well, plus getting to enjoy the soft soufflé pancake alongside it all felt genuinely upscale. That's my visit report on Petrico, my recommendation for a new café and dessert spot in Hapjeong.
