And I really have to talk about level 3. I love spicy food enough to order Yeopgi Tteokbokki at its hottest level, so I thought level 3 cockle jjamppong would be fine. But it was seriously hotter than I expected, lol. As I ate, the heat built up enough to make my face sweat. That said, it was not the kind of spice that made it impossible to eat. The broth was refreshing and tasty, so I kept eating even while sweating. The cockle jjamppong in particular had cockles and seafood, giving the broth a refreshing flavor as well as a warming spice that kept drawing me back. Level 3 was hot enough to make even a spice lover like me break into a real sweat, but it was delicious enough that I kept eating until the end, haha. The jajangmyeon was also more delicious than expected, so next time I want to try other menu items too.
