I had eaten here before, but this time I chose mostly new bagels rather than the ones I’d tried previously. Since there are so many bagel varieties, I think one advantage of Orange Bagel in Suwon is being able to come back and choose something new each time. Orange Bagel is a large café, but freshly baked bagels really kept coming out continuously. There are signature drinks too, combining orange with coffee or lattes. It only takes a little time, so I definitely recommend taking part. ## How the laugen butter, corn, and potato bagels tasted The laugen butter bagel was the one I was most curious about. The characteristic salty flavor of laugen paired better than expected with the rich, nutty flavor of butter. It is not a bagel loaded with lots of flashy ingredients, but its simplicity made it easier to appreciate the bagel’s chewiness along with the butter flavor. A sip of Americano followed by the laugen butter bagel was just perfect. Perhaps because the butter itself was so flavorful, it almost tasted like cream cheese too. Next was the corn bagel. With corn inside, it had a nutty flavor with a subtle sweetness. The corn’s texture came through alongside the bagel’s chewiness, making it an easygoing item to eat. If you normally like bread with corn in it, this could be a good one to choose. Last was the potato bagel. This was another item I had not tried before, so I chose it for the first time on this visit. It was savory and filling, so it seemed suitable as a meal replacement rather than just a dessert. All three tasted completely different, so it was even nicer to share them little by little. Unlike the other bagels, the potato bagel had potato chips and spicy seasoning sprinkled over the top. I ordered an Americano without hesitation. Personally, when I am having bread or dessert, I think a clean Americano pairs better than a sweet drink. You can get water, and there is an oven so you can warm up your chosen bagels yourself. A lightly warmed bagel has a different texture, so if you like them warm, it would be nice to use the oven. There is also a setup for packing any leftover bagels yourself. We packed up what we had left too, and it was convenient to do it ourselves without having to ask a staff member. I returned to Orange Bagel because I had enjoyed it so much before. Last time, I tried its famous menu items, while this time I focused on new bagels including the laugen butter, corn, and potato varieties. With so many kinds available, it was fun to come back and choose all over again. The café is spacious and has many kinds of seating, so it was comfortable to spend time over bagels and a coffee. On my next visit, I would like to choose another item I have not tried yet.
