It is a bar, but there were plenty of dishes that work well as a meal, so it was a nice place for a day when, like us, you want to eat and have drinks at the same time. It had an atmosphere that was comfortable for drinks with friends or a date near Suwon Station, and we started by ordering beer and soft drinks. Since we were planning to have a proper dinner rather than just drink, we chose some hearty dishes too. The interior was laid out in room-style spaces, so it felt private. That may be why it seems to be known as a popular spot for group blind dates, too. Having the crackers right away meant we could wait without getting bored until the food arrived. First up was the gopdoritang we ordered as our main dish. Alternating bites of chicken and beef intestines was fun too, and it went well with a beer. It may seem like a small thing, but I really liked it. Eating the rice with the gopdoritang broth and taking a bite of Spam here and there was a completely rice-stealing combination. In the end, one bowl was not enough, so we added another. Spam was great, of course, but rice soaked in the gopdoritang broth was a combination that simply could not be bad. The gopdoritang was good with drinks, but with rice it became a hearty dinner; I especially liked that the steamed rice came with a slice of Spam on top, so we ended up having one more bowl of rice too, haha.
