Sailing Paradise is located inside Hangang Paradise at 252 Yeouidong-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and is open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM. If you’re taking the subway, come out of Exit 3 at Yeouinaru Station! Walk pleasantly for about 15 minutes along the beautiful Han River, and you’ll spot a dock with duck boats bobbing on the water! I wanted to take in both the beautiful orange Han River sunset and Seoul’s dazzling night views, so I booked the supposedly most popular 7 PM slot! Once you finish booking, you receive a helpful text message. There are a few steps to prepare before boarding, so I arrived at the dock at a relaxed 6:40 PM—20 minutes before boarding, just as the message instructed! When you arrive, the first thing you do is fill out a simple boarding form prepared at the venue! The form wasn’t complicated, so it was quick to complete. Afterward, I waited briefly until the captain came over to guide us! Before going, I had looked it up through Naver Booking, where the boat types, prices, and the distinction between public and private tours were all explained in great detail! Sailing Paradise had such a wide range of options, from cozy 10- and 12-passenger yachts for small groups to large 30- and 50-passenger yachts that are perfect for group gatherings or parties! There was even a private full-yacht rental service for anniversaries or proposals, so there were plenty of choices. There was chilled Champagne that looked refreshing just to see, along with truffle crackers, which I already love. Sipping Champagne and eating crackers on the gently rippling Han River made me feel like the main character in a movie? Haha. It was such a thrilling, unusual, and satisfying experience—one of the rarest kinds of experiences in life! The weather was a little cloudy that day, so unfortunately I didn’t get to see the perfect blazing-orange sunset I had been looking forward to so much!
