When I asked whether I could bring a cake for my event, they recommended a retro-style tour where we could hold a party. We expected four to six guests, and when I worked out the cost for each number, there was not a huge price difference. So after some deliberation, I chose the owner’s recommendation: three hours on a docked large yacht plus a 30-minute cruise. The deck felt small for six people to gather and spend time together. But once inside, there was room for all six of us to enjoy ourselves. It was not cramped for sitting together, chatting, and eating. The company provided ice, disposable plates, and a Bluetooth speaker, and we prepared everything else ourselves. As soon as we boarded the yacht, it was time to decorate! We blew up balloons and put up a garland, working hard to create a space for photos. Whenever large boats passed alongside us, the water sloshed and our boat rocked. Being inside, I felt a little motion sick too, and one friend said they were feeling sick and stayed out on the deck. It got better once we went outside. We ordered delivery for anything we ran short of. I brought canapés, fruit cups, Brie cheese, and chicken salad so everyone could easily grab a bite. As dusk began to fall, our event on the Han River was a little hectic, but romantic too, with the cool breeze. Everyone celebrated, we took photos, and chatted away, and before we knew it, two and a half hours had flown by. I thought three hours would be plenty, but happy time really does go by so quickly. Time to wrap up ~ There were trash bags and wet wipes on the boat, so tidying up was quick. ## Seoul night views from the Humin catamaran Because of an electrical issue and the owner’s thoughtful consideration, our night-view tour was upgraded ^~ The boat we boarded to see the night view had a completely, completely different feel~ The boat we had docked on felt cozy and private, while the Humin catamaran we took for the night view had a bedroom and a spacious toilet downstairs, plus a wide deck with an open view. We started slicing through the water.
